Why Woven Blinds?
Woven blinds bring a relaxed, natural warmth to any room. The texture of bamboo, timber and hand-loomed grasses adds depth and character, while softly filtered light and daytime privacy keep the space feeling calm and inviting.
The Simply Naturals Range by Peter Meyer is a collection of four woven blinds designs made from natural materials from hand-loomed rustic grasses and exotic bamboo to fine French timbers and a contemporary natural weave. Each blind is made to measure in Roman, roller or roll-up styles, comes with a three to five-year warranty, and is suitable for motorisation
Making custom blinds since 1987, Blinds by Peter Meyer is widely regarded as one of Australasia’s best manufacturers, known for innovative design and leading-edge technology.

Silk Road Rustics Roman Blinds
Every Silk Road Rustics roman blind is one of a kind. Traditionally hand loomed from grasses and botanicals 100% naturally harvested from oriental grasslands, woodlands and riverbanks, a single 15m roll can take up to three days to weave. Patterns are carefully planned to flow across multiple windows while keeping the natural character of each blind. Choose from 16 weaves and leave them unlined for a soft, sheer effect, or add a translucent or blockout lining plus binding for privacy or darkness, so they work in every room, including bedrooms. Made as Roman blinds, with a 3 year warranty and suit manual or motorised operation.

Le Blinde Woven Timber
Le Blinde Timbers was the very first range Peter Meyer produced, and it is still installed in some of the finest homes in Australia and New Zealand. The timber weaves are handcrafted in France by a company that has been making them since 1872. Enjoy them in their natural state, or have them stained or custom painted to suit your colour palette. Bias-bound edges give a finish that lasts, and three of the nine weaves are designed for privacy. Available as Roman or roll-up with cord, chain or motorised operation. 5 Year Warranty

Chinois Bamboo Blinds
Chinois Bamboo is for those who want their windows to make a statement. Developed especially for Peter Meyer, its ten distinctive weaves are handcrafted from bamboo, seagrasses, jutes and reeds, woven together with polyester yarn for durability and longevity. Bamboo is one of nature’s best insulators, and the weaves give a beautifully defined finish at the window. They offer daytime privacy but are not designed for bedroom privacy at night, so they suit living areas and commercial spaces. Available as Roman, roll-up or moving panel blinds in natural finishes, with Romans ideal for motorisation. 5 Year Warranty

We have recently completed another large renovation and required motorised roller blinds, curtains, shutters and an awning system to cover a deck area. The project was challenging as we had many varied shaped windows some of which were difficult to access. Lahood have a great team from the front line staff in the showroom, the sales representatives right through to the installation team all of which maintained a high level of communication throughout the project. We really appreciated the service. Our builder put an extra section of timber in the way of one of the roller blind locations and Lahood kindly trimmed down that blind and reinstalled it at no extra charge. Lahood really do go out of their way to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and we have no hesitation recommending them to others. Thanks again Lahood.

The Lahood consultant came and was just amazing with measuring and advising us with what would look and work best in our space, we had no idea really; and when we got the quote we were pleasantly surprised. We love our blinds!
